This Application Note describes the polarographic determination of selenite in electroplating baths used in the production of copper indium gallium diselenide thin-film solar cells (CIGS cells). The CIGS absorber layer is electrodeposited on a molybdenum-coated substrate.
Selenite analysis is carried out after dilution of the sample with sulfuric acid as supporting electrolyte.
