OMNIS Sample Robot Oven

Fully automated system for determining trace level moisture content

The OMNIS Sample Robot Oven ("OSRO") is a fully automated solution for gas extraction in Karl Fischer titration, designed for solids and other challenging samples. With flexible vial handling, dual oven module options, and seamless integration into the OMNIS platform, it delivers high-throughput, reproducible results with minimal manual intervention

  • Fully automated gas extraction for solids and difficult samples

  • Configurable with one or two Oven Modules for maximum throughput

  • Compatible with a wide range of vial sizes (2R to 30R)

  • Automatic reagent replacement and methanol refill — no manual interruptions

  • Gas extraction up to 300 °C with air or nitrogen as carrier gas

  • Temperature gradient option for optimising unknown samples

  • Adjustable puncture needle for different vial sizes and filling levels

Save time with automation

The OMNIS Sample Robot Oven eliminates manual steps by automatically handling gas extraction, reagent exchange, and methanol refilling. This ensures uninterrupted operation, even during long runs or when working at elevated oven temperatures.

Flexible sample handling

From 2R to 30R vials, the system supports a wide range of sizes and closure types. Mixed vial sizes can be processed in a single sequence, giving laboratories maximum flexibility without the need to standardise vial formats.

Scalable capacity

The modular design allows you to start with one Oven Module and expand to two whenever your sample throughput increases. This saves space and cost compared to investing in an additional instrument.

Seamless integration into OMNIS

As part of the OMNIS platform, the Sample Robot Oven can be combined with Coulometric or Volumetric Karl Fischer Titration modules. This enables unified workflows, centralised control via OMNIS Software, and easy expansion into new titration techniques.
